Living in Chilliwack for most of my life, I have always taken advantage of being outdoors. I have always enjoyed hiking the local trails and jogging along the Vedder River. In 2004 I discovered yoga and it’s many benefits.
After six years of being a dedicated student I completed my teacher training in July 2009. During an intensive one month program I learned some of the many styles of yoga. Since then, I have been teaching at Natural Balance yoga studio in Chilliwack as well as a women’s fitness centre in Abbotsford.
I have seen how yoga can benefit everyone who tries it, and I aspire to share my knowledge of the practice to individuals that are willing to learn. The body is instinctive and through practice the mind is tamed to follow it.
